The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Mississippi is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens utilizing core programs and partnerships that focus on academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles.

The United Way of Oxford-Lafayette County helps fund the agency’s Power Hour program, which provides homework and tutoring assistance to Lafayette-Oxford-University (LOU) Barksdale Club members in first through third grade in order to improve reading proficiency and on-time grade progression.
